
Natasha Kohler
Natasha Kohler is an Auckland-based independent dancer and choreographer working predominantly with Dance Plant Collective. Natasha completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Dance at Unitec Institute of Technology in 2016 and has since worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer on multiple shows and performances around New Zealand. She has worked extensively as a core member of Dance Plant Collective on numerous works both in choreographic and performance roles. Her interests lie in the experimentation of cross-discipline and multimedia work alongside exploring site specific and eco somatic movement.
Some of her highlights include being awarded 'Best Newcomer' (Company) award at Auckland Fringe Festival 2018 for Dance Plant Collective's 'The Cost of Arms and Legs', The DANZ Choreographic Mentorship award at Short & Sweet Dance Festival 2018 for 'Rituals of Similarity', Red Leap Theatre's Greenhouse Residency, and The 2021 Tup Lang Choreographic Award.
