With over two decades of experience in education, Sarah Tahere emerges as a trailblazer in her field, collaborating with visionaries on groundbreaking educational endeavours such as the Inzone project and Pacific Advance Senior School. In addition to her role as a cultural advisor, Sarah serves as a co-director of the Toitoi collective theatre company, where she has co-directed the acclaimed New Zealand musical "The Way of the Raukura," seamlessly integrating education with the arts.
Equipped with a master's degree in Technological Futures, Sarah is passionate about creating opportunities in the digital tech space for Rangatahi Māori and explore further the intersections between the arts and technology, she is currently working towards developing a reo Māori Computer technology Diploma, in partnership with Techtorium.
Sarah is renowned not only for her innovative teaching methodologies but also for her musical talents as a singer and songwriter. Her commitment extends to empowering rangatahi, instilling confidence, and shaping the educational and creative landscape for future generations.
